How It Works

1. Find a representative

Search by politician, riding or district, or browse Canada and the United States. Filter by region, party or level of government.

2. Read the profile

Check the office, party and constituency to make sure you have the right person. Review source links and the date the information was last retrieved or checked.

3. Share your assessment

Choose an overall rating from 1 to 5 and explain what informed it. Optional category ratings let you assess responsiveness, communication, representation and follow-through. Choose Unable to assess when you do not have enough information.

4. Wait for moderation

Every review is held for moderation. It becomes public and affects scores only after approval. Your email stays private; reviews appear as Anonymous visitor. Email addresses are not verified, and anonymity does not establish that a reviewer is a constituent.

5. Help keep information accurate

Use Report a review for content concerns or Suggest a correction for profile errors. Former officeholders leave active search and stop accepting new ratings when their status is updated.
