Public office carries a responsibility to the people it serves. RateMyPoli gives visitors a place to examine that relationship and share their assessment of elected representatives across Canada and the United States.

The project brings information about public officeholders together with moderated visitor reviews. Our goal is to make political accountability more accessible between elections and to help people understand who represents them.

Our independence

RateMyPoli is an independent project. It is not affiliated with a political party, candidate or government. Party colours identify affiliations; they do not indicate endorsement. Profiles link to their sources so visitors can check the underlying information.

What the ratings mean

Ratings reflect the opinions of people who choose to contribute. They are not representative polling results, verified findings of misconduct or endorsements by RateMyPoli. Read the review count and the reasons behind a score alongside the score itself.
